BLACKSTONE, MA - Evelyn B. (Leblanc) Fedyszyn, 90, of iBlackstone, died peacefully Sunday, December 19, 2010 in iLandmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Stephen Fedyszyn and lived out her days in the house that she and her husband built in Blackstone. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Lucie (Coulombe) Leblanc. Mrs. Fedyszyn was employed for twentyfive years as a Molder for Tupperware in No. Smith field where she won numerous prizes for yearly perfect attendance including an all expense paid trip to Bermuda, before retiring in 1984. Always a hard worker, she then returned to the workforce full time at Polytop for six years, retiring again in 1990. She was a talented seamstress, an avid gardener and enjoyed traveling, especially with her family. Mrs. Fedyszyn was a member of the Senior Citizens in Blackstone and formerly belonged to the Ladies Sodality of Our Lady of Victories Church in Woonsocket. She was a communicant of St. Paul's Parrish in Blackstone and a Meritorious Donor to the Shrine of St. Jude, her patron saint. She is survived by her sister and dearest friend Loretta Zarzycki of Woonsocket, her loving and devoted caregivers and niece Jo-Ann Fielding and her husband Phil of No. Smith field; three additional nieces Beverly Zarzycki of Bull Head City, Arizona, and Susan and Theresa Guilmain and a nephew Peter Fedyszyn of Woonsocket and was also the great aunt of Patrick, Deborah and Michael Kelley. She was preceded in death by her sister Alice Guilmain. She was blessed with many caring friends who were never too busy to call or visit during her final illnesses, for which she was very grateful. Her funeral will be held Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 10:30AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial atll:30 AM in St. Paul's Church, 48 St. Paul Street, Blackstone, MA. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery, Rathbun Street, Woonsocket.
