Third son for RJ "Bob" and Elizabeth Parry Jones, he went to grade school at West Valley School and graduated from New Cambria High School in 1935. He served with the 951st and 183rd Field Artillery Battalions in the European Theatre from D-Day at Normandy Beach to the Battle of the Bulge which ended the war in Europe in 1945. He married Mildred L. Brown in Columbia, MO on December 21, 1946. He was survived by 3 children, Elna B., Eldon, & Elva L and 4 Grandchildren, Wendy and Donald Nord and Julie & Russell Williams.
