JACOBUS - Irene J. (Gerbrick) Allison, 93, formerly of Jacobus, died Sunday at Shrewsbury Lutheran Retirement Village, where she lived the past three years. She was the widow of Harry B. Allison.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday from the Geiple Funeral Home, 45 Main St., Glen Rock, with burial at St. Peter's United Church of Christ Cemetery, near Seven Valleys. Viewing will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. There will be no viewing Tuesday evening.
Born in Codorus Township, daughter of the late Jacob and Annie (Emig) Gerbrick, she was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ.
Surviving are: A daughter, Romaine Smith, 286 Reynolds Mill Road, York; two grandchildren, a great-grandchild; a brother, Jesse Gerbrick, Lena, Ill.; a half-brother, Raymond Gerbrick, York, and a half-sister, Marie Slonaker, Glen Rock RD 2.
Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Elmo Beck.
