Burton W. "Burt" Kluck, 72, 2619 County Road J North, Rosholt, died Thursday morning, Dec. 27, 2001, at his home under the care of Portage County Hospice.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. Herb Zoromski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church. Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established at a later date.

Burt was born May 16, 1929 in Galloway, a son of the late Joseph and Anastasia (Wanta) Kluck. His marriage to Anna Loyce Long took place on April 24, 1954, in Owensboro, Ky. After their wedding, the couple settled in the Stevens Point area.

His wife, Loyce, survives. Burt was a self-employed tile contractor and operated Kluck Tile for many years until his retirement in 1996. He enjoyed his children and grandchildren. He loved music, playing the guitar and keyboard, and he enjoyed sports, especially watching his grandchildren's games.

Survivors include his wife, Loyce; five daughters, Julie (Larry) Zunker, Wausau, Molly (Jim) Berens, Rothschild, Peggy (Mike) Shippy, Stevens Point, Betsy (Patrick) Napiwocki, Stevens Point, and Terry (David) Brzezinski, Bevent; two sons, Christopher (Barb) Kluck, Rosholt, and John (Laura) Kluck, Custer; 11 grandchildren, Lee, Joe and Lacey Kluck, Daniel and Heidi Berens, Lindsey and Ashley Shippy, Eric and Sara Napiwocki, and Andrew and Amanda Brzezinski; two brothers, Hubert (Lucille) Kluck, Tucson, Ariz., and Eugene "Chink" Kluck, Stevens Point; four sisters, Theresa Firkus, Stevens Point, Gladys Helminski, Neenah, Patricia Arnold, Phoenix, Ariz., and Barbara (Tom) Gaily, El Paso, Texas; and three sisters-in-law, Delores, Dorothy and Camille Kluck, all of Stevens Point.

Burt was preceded in death by one grandson, B.J. Brzezinski, two sisters and nine brothers.
