Tekla Marie or Tillie Skrzypczak married Jozef "Joseph" A Skornok in the St John Cantius Church, Chicago, Cook Co, IL on February 2, 1919. (There is a picture of young Tillie to the right)

They had a farm and a gas station/local general store in Nirvana. Tillie's family from Illinois came to visit and are standing in front of the Gas Station/Store in the 1940 picture.  Included are: Left to right - Michael Skrzypczak (Tillie's older step-brother) (William Sanderson, Michael's son-in-law)  Then there is Tillie and Joseph  and Florence (Tillie and Joseph's only child).  Next to Florence is Marie (Michael's wife)  The little girl belongs to Sanderson and the young man kneeling is Irvin Skrypczak/Skrysak - Michael's son.There is also a picture of Michael plowing the garden and the Skornok home in the background.

1920 US Census -Eleven months after they married they are living on the farm with William Skornok and Frances (10 year old niece).  Anna isn't on the Census Images so she has probably passed away.The farm was a working farm and they raised chickens and cows and grew vegetables.  They also had a small country store and a gas station.
