Bobby was born in Springdale, Ark., where he enjoyed playing basketball and football. He attended Oklahoma State University. Bob joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1953 and served in the Korean War. After the war, he was promoted to senior drill instructor at Parris Island, S.C. After his military service, Bob joined his brother, Loy Clark, in building up Loy Clark Pipeline Co., where he worked for 42 years. Bob enjoyed football, basketball, and multiple activities with his friends and family. Bob is survived by his wife, Janette; son, Kenneth Clark; daughter, Lisa DeBoer; grandson, Richard Clark; and many stepchildren; step-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren. His laughter and smile will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, in Skyline Memorial Gardens, 4101 N.W. Skyline Blvd., Portland. Viewing will be held the morning of the service.
