RALPH FISCHER
Ralph K. Fischer, 73, of 11 Church St., North Warren, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, at Duke University Hospital, Durham, N.C.
He was born Dec. 23, 1930, in Warren, the son of the late Simon and Emma Gertsch Fischer. He was a 1948 graduate of Warren High School, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Fischer was a credit manager for United Refining Co. for over 30 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of the North Warren United Presbyterian Church, North Star Masonic Lodge F and AM, Coudersport Consistory, Shriners, American Legion Post No.135, and the Kiwanas Club.
He is survived by three sons, Danford W. Fischer, Las Vegas, Nev., Kevin A. Fischer, Baltimore, Md., and Scott D. Fischer, Warren; a daughter, Lori Crooks, Hillsborough, N.C.; a sister, Ruth Franklin, Lakewood, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Members of the North Star Masonic Lodge will conduct their ritual at 6:45 p.m. A funeral service will be held there at 11 a.m. Thursdasy with Rev. Burfoot S. Ward, III, pastor, North Warren Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
