Well-Known Woman Passes Away Yesterday at Home on Lawyer's Road.

Mrs. W. S. Faulkner died at her home on the Lawyer's Road yesterday morning at 6 o'clock at the age of 37 years. She had been confined to her bed for several months and death was not unexpected.

The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Simpson, who survive here, together with her husband and five children. She also has two brothers, Messrs. Benjamin Simpson of Greensboro; and Charles Simpson of Greenville, S. C. Four sisters survive all of whom reside in this city: Mesdames. C. F. Alexander and M. T. Thomas and Misses Lizzie and Vanner Simpson.

The funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late home, conducted by Rev. Plato T. Durham, assisted by Rev. J. H. Bradley, pastor of Belmont Methodist Church of which the deceased was a faithful member. The pallbearers will be Messrs. J. D. Ford, Lon Smith, B. F. Withers, John Smith, E. A. Cole and Charles Nichols.
