MRS. HANSEN, OSAGE, DIES
NATIVE OF GERMANY SUCCUMBS AT HOME OF HEART DISEASE
Osage – Mrs. Kris Hansen, 73, died Friday night at her home of heart disease.
She was born in Germany November 10, 1865, and came to Mitchell county when nine years old. She was married in September of 1887. Her husband died on September 16, 1938.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Henry Gaarder, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild. Another daughter, Mrs. Otto Fossey, died 14 years ago.

Mary Kathryn Miller was born November 10, 1865 in Germany, the daughter of Johannes P. Miller and Martha (Shot) Miller. Note: mothers' maiden name from 1925 Census
She married Christian L Hansen 1856-1938. They are both buried in the Osage Cemetery.
