Mr. Edward L. Bailes, 62, of 406 Stevens Avenue, NE, Huntsville, AL, died December 5, 1987, at Huntsville Hospital.
Funeral services were held December 7 at 2 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Lindsey officiating. Burial was in the Gatlin Cemetery with Taylor Funeral Home in charge.
A native of Madison County, AL, Mr. Bailes was a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the Woodmen of the World and the Baptist faith. He was a retired employee of Meadow Gold Dairy in Huntsville.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucille Campbell Bailes; one son, Donald Ray Bailes of Valdosta, GA; and one daughter, Diane Kimbrow of Huntsville; one brother, Hatcher Bailes of Florence, AL; and four grandchildren. [Your Community Shopper 9-16 Dec 1987]
