Mrs. Sylvia Pence Dies in Denver

Mrs. Sylvia B. Pence, 47, wifo of Major A. B. Pence, retired, died at Fitzsimmons hospital, Denver, Friday. She had been a patient at the hospital for nine months.

Mrs. Pence, before her marriage, was Sylvia Archibald of the Gill district. She was a member of the War Mothers organization.

Mrs. Pence's husband, Major Pence, now with the North American Aviation company in California, was flying to Colorado by plane Friday evening.

Mrs. Pence is survived by the widower, and by one son, First Class Petty Officer, Archie Pence, of the United States navy. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Susan Archibald of Greeley, a sister, Mrs. C. Howard Miller of Greeley and a brother, Ray Archibald of Denver.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sylvia Pence will be held In Macys drawing-room at 2 o'clock Wednesday, with Interment at Linn Grove.
