Victor A. Brodin, 91, 414 E. Cherry Ave., died Friday, Nov. 15, at Battle Lake Care Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Zion Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls. Rev. James Armstrong will officiate, and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens.
The son of Peter and Hannah (Bjork) Brodin, he was born Nov. 25, 1893, in Nidaros Township.
On Sept. 21, 1917, he and Tena Torgrimson were married in Fergus Falls. They farmed in Leaf Mountain and Nidaros townships until moving to Fergus Falls in 1942. His wife died July 8,1981.
A veteran of World War I, he was a member of World War I Barracks of Fergus Falls. He was also a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.
Survivors include one of two daughters, Mrs. Amos (Mildred) Wienbar of Fergus Falls; one son, Lionel of Wichita, Kan.; nine grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. H.G. (Mabel) Reamy of Falls Church, Va.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls and resume at the church one hour prior to services Wednesday.
