Fred E. Patterson, 73, died Saturday afternoon at his home, 315 Elmwood ave. He had wen a resident of Alma many years and was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Alma and an elder in the Eastminster chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the First Presbyterian church. Moody funeral home will have charge of arrangements. He is survived by the widow, Lucy; five sons, Clifford, Vernon, Leslie, Clair and Gerald, all of Alma; four daughters, Mrs. Ellen Lavender. Mrs. Eunice Hannig, Mrs. Dorothy Reynolds and Mrs. Barbara Erickson, all of Alma; one sister, Mrs. Vera Ball of Ithaca; and one brother, Emerson Patterson of Ithaca.
