Allen T. Blue was born in Fayette county, Ohio, June 20, 1839. Died August 6, 1911, aged seventy two years, one month and sixteen days.
At an early age he moved with his parents to Missouri, thence back to Indiana, where he spent the remainder of his life.
In 1860 he was married to Celia McCloude. To this union were born seven children, of whom five survive.
In 1875 he was married to Mrs. Nelson Blackburn. To this union were born five children, of whom three survive.
He also leaves to mourn his loss four brothers, one sister and four step children.
In 1884 he united with the First Baptist church of Bunker Hill, Ind., living since then a consistent Christian life.
In his demise the community loses an honorable and Christian gentleman.
