NEIL O. McKIM
Services are pending with Denton Funeral Home for Neil O. McKim, who died today in a local hospital.
A 40-year Carlsbad resident, he was retired from the public relations department of International Minerals and Chemical Corp.
McKim was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the Chamber of Commerce, the local retirement program, and was Sunday school superintendent.
Survivors include son William Keith McKim of Torrance, Calif.; daughter, Janet Lee of Los Angeles; brother Ralph McKim of Tacoma, Wash.; sisters Leora Rendon of Lebanon, Kan., and Mary Smith of Moreland, Kan.; and four grandchildren.

Funeral rites for Neil O. McKim will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. in Denton Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Carlsbad Cemetery.
Pall bearers will include Bob Lehman, Burt Lincoln, Frank Smith, Arnult Mitchell, Tony Silvester and Reid McCloskey.
