Mr. James Eugene "Cowboy" Womick, 47, of Spartanburg, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011. A native of Spartanburg, he was the son of Walter Benny and Barbara Murray Webster.
He worked in warehousing and was a member of Drayton United Methodist Church. Mr. Womick was a marathon winner in kayaking and loved snow skiing and bicycling.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Patricia Womick of Spartanburg; one brother, Robert Womick and wife Debbie of Byron, GA; and one niece, Layne Womick of Byron, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Womick; and one sister, Libby Sellars.
Interment will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
