RITA GRUBBS HUMPHREY

Rita Grubbs Humphrey age 70 of the Legrande Community passed away at 6:55 a.m. Thursday January 13, 2011 at Medco Center of Campbellsville.
She was a native of Hart County and a Homemaker.
She loved working in her yard and flowers and also loved Hummingbirds and Finches.She was a Christian and a member of Joyner's Chapel Church where she served as a former Pianist.
She also served the Three Springs Baptist Church as a former Pianist.Rita was a 28 year Breast Cancer Survivor and had served as a former Volunteer and Officer of the Local American Cancer Society,
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Amos Grubbs and Ruby Lucille Sexton Grubbs and by her loving husband , Lyndon Dale (Tub) Humphrey in 2007.

Survivors Include

Rita is survived by:
2 Daughters: Alicia Irwin of Campbellsville
and Lynette Powell & her husband Tim of Glasgow
2 Grandchildren:
Katie Irwin and Nate Irwin both of Campbellsville
1 Brother:
Donald Grubbs & his wife Bonnie of Bowling Green
1 Sister:
Doris Adams & her husband Billie of Elizabethtown.
Also Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

Funeral Service

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. C.S.T. Sunday January 16, 2011 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in the Cosby Cemetery.

Visitation Information

Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 3:30 until 9 p.m.C.S.T. on Saturday and after 9 a.m. until funeral time on Sunday.
