--Peter Nichols, age 80, died here at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Lees, Wednesday after an illness of a year. He was born in Henry county, Jan. 14, 1854, but moved with his family to Miami county when he was eight years old.
--Surviving children are: Mrs. Gladys Roher, of Fort Wayne; Mrs. Charles Lees; Mrs. Golda Miller, of Peru; John Nichols, of Peru; Hugh, of Plymouth; and Ross, of Bunker Hill. A brother, Samuel, lives in Lincoln, and a sister, Mrs. Lydia Tubbs, lives in Elwood.
--Friends may view the remains at the Glazier funeral home in Bunker Hill until time for the funeral. Services will be held at the Santa Fe church Friday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Perry Copeland will officiate and burial will be in the Rankin cemetery.
