STARKS - Mrs. Rebecca Starks, widow of Christian Starks, born Dec. 25, 1839,
died January 27, 1928, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lillie Amburg, aged
88 years, 1 month, and 3 days. She was the mother of 13 children, five of
whom are living, as follows: O. W. Starks and M. C. Starks, Georgetown, La.;
James Starks of Meridian, Okla.; Mrs. Mandy Norris and Mrs. Lillie Amburg, of
Georgetown, La. She also leaves a great number of grandchildren, about
forty-five great grandchildren, and a host of friends to mourn her loss.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Lewis and the body laid to rest in the
Starks Cemetery, near Selma.

Do not grieve, loved ones, but be prepared to meet her on that Beautiful
Shore, where we meet to part no part no more.
