OBITUARY OF HERMAN B. ANDEREGG
Herman B. Anderegg was born near Guttenberg in Clayton county, Iowa, on June 20, 1873 and died at Moneta, Iowa, December 1, 1941. He was the eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Anderegg. He received his early schooling at Guttenberg, then moved with his parents to Garfield township, Kossuth county, in 1883. He was married to Caroline Schoenbeck on October 23, 1901 at Earlville, Iowa, and lived on a farm near West Bend until 1918 when he, with his family
moved to Worthington, Minnesota. His wife preceded him in death in April, 1938. To this union five children were born; Pearl (Mrs. Floyd Paine) of Worthington, Grace (Mrs. Arthur Sorem) of Jackson, Raymond of Hartley, Iowa., Clifford of
West bend, and Zelma of Redding, California. Deceased was a hard worker all of his life, but met with reverses, and since the loss of his wife has been more or less despondent. He leaves to mourn his death his children, 21 grandchildren, 5 brothers and 5 sisters, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
