> William Ward Aldrich, age 85, of Plainview died Friday at a Little Rock hospital. He was a retired railroad agent and had lived in Yell County about 50 years. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Grotto and a Methodist. He was a former member of the Plainview School board.

Mrs. Lida Breashears and Mrs. Mary Westlake of Little Rock, Miss Ruth Aldrich of Washington and Mrs. Helen Smith and Mrs. Virginia Ugge of Arlington, Tex.; a half-brother, Harry Aldrich of New Albandy, Ind.; 12 grandchildren anl7 great grandchildren.
