Peter Stone was born on his father, Morten Paulsen's farm called Ytre(outer)Stennes later spelled Steines. This was a small farm on the outskirts of the larger Stennes farm near by. Mother's Name Oline Knudsdatter. In the 1900 Norwegian census that cluster of farms is shown as "Steinnæs" on the island known as Finnøy in More og Ramsdal County. At 16yrs he emigrated to US on May 20, 1887. Arrived in New York.
