Betty married Joseph Carbonara.

Betty was the author of "Epitaphs in Old Bridgewater, Massachusetts, Volume 2". She updated the work of Williams Latham through the 1990s for these cemeteries:
Vernon Street Cemetery,
Conant Street Cemetery,
Harlow Cemetery,
Jennings Hill Cemetery,
and Scotland Cemetery.
She also transcribed and created a map of the First Saint Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
Her book is available for viewing at the Bridgewater Public Library and for sale at the Olde Bridgewater Historical Society.
