Mr.Curtis Paul Bean,67,was surrounded by his loving family when he went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday,January 13,2011.

Born November 21,1943 in Whitmire,Newberry County,S.C.,Mr.Bean was the eldest son of the late Bill and Vivan Bean. He was a member of Unity at Calvary Church of God. He spent the majority oh his adult life working construction as a welder. He leaves behind a wealth of memories playing softball for Bailey's Gulf,fishing with his grandson Josh,and attending worship services as often as his health would allow.

In addition to his parents,Mr.Bean was preceded in death by his first wife of forty years,Brenda Marlene Bean;his brother,William Douglas Bean;and a sister,Rebecca Ann Karas

Mr.Bean is survived by his loving wife of seven years, Becky his devoted children, daughter,Robin Elizabeth Love and her husband Joel and son Curtis Randal Bean; additionally,the light of his life in two grandchildren, Dawn Elizabeth Love and Joshua Paul Love. And finally, he was the proud Paw Paw of one greatgrandson,Michael Curtis Wade;step-children Debbie Neves (Kevin),Sharon Colbert (Thomas) and Brenda Carpenter (Bryan);and Step-gradchildren,Michelle (Chris)Myers,Dylan Cutler,Brandon Arey,Ashley,Rachael,and Russell Colbert;and numerous nieces,nephews,great-nieces,great-nephews;and wonderful friends.
