GLENWOOD, Iowa -- Jean M. (Ackley) Gray, 71, Glenwood, formerly of Westboro, Mo., died Monday, Nov. 28, 1994, at a Red Oak, Iowa, health facility.
Mrs. Gray, born in Westboro, had resided in Glenwood for about 30 years.
She had been employed by the Glenwood State Hospital School for many years.
In 1942, she married John C. Gray at Maryville, Mo. They later divorced.
Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Surviving: a daughter, Sharon Johnston, Red Oak; four sons, Terry, Waldorf, Iowa, Michael, Glenwood, William, Monroe, Iowa, and Steven, Red Oak; her mother, Pauline Ackley, Maryville; two sisters, Harriett Myers, Kansas City and Judy Patterson, Graham, Mo.; two brothers, Kenneth Ackley, St. Joseph and Junior Ackley, Broken Arrow, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
Service: 2 p.m. Thursday, Peterson Mortuary, Glenwood. Burial: Glenwood Cemetery. Family visitation: 7 to 8 tonight, at the mortuary.
