LINCOLN - Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Louise Allen, 83, will be 2 p.m. today, at Oxford Congregational Holiness Church with the Rev. Charles Wright and the Rev. James Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow at Eastaboga Cemetery. Mrs. Allen died Saturday, May 31, 2008 at her residence. She was a native and life long resident of Eastaboga. Attended Oxford Congregational Holiness Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include, daughter, Carolyn (Clyde) Heath, of Lincoln; son, Ralph Allen Jr., of Talladega; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Allen Sr., and son, Lloyd E. Allen.
Pallbearers will be Michael McKnight, Mark Ford, Jay Wyatt, Jeremy Allen, Chris Culver and Danny Shears.
