Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Daugherty was born to Issac Ray and Pinkie Marie (Hutchins) Booher in Temple, Oklahoma on February 7, 1942 and departed this life in Lawton, Oklahoma on January 14, 2011 at the age of 68 years, 11 months and 7 days.

Liz grew up in Temple, OK where she attended school; she later received her General Education Degree. She married Jerry Daugherty in Frederick on June 19, 1960 and traveled with him as part of the US Navy to Rhode Island, Spain, Florida, California, Texas and Las Vegas to name a few. She has worked for the Cotton County Sherriff Office as a secretary for the last 23 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Vicki Daugherty; three brothers, Joe Booher, Jimmy Booher and Isaac Ray Booher Jr.; and 2 sisters, Thelma Carlene Smith and Almita Booher.

Survivors include a son, Mark Daugherty and wife Jennifer Collier of Walters; a daughter, Kelly and husband Nick Simon of Walters; two brothers, Pete Booher and wife Diane of Indian Springs, NV and Wilburn Booher of Las Vegas, NV; five grandchildren, Cierra and Samantha Daugherty, Ashton Spence and Rachel and Dylan Simon, and many other relatives and friends.
