Lifelong Longview resident David Ray Anderson passed away Jan. 13, 2011, at the age of 37.

He was born April 12, 1973, in Longview, to David and Sharon (McWilliams) Anderson. David graduated from R.A. Long High School in 1991 and served in the Air Force.

On Nov. 10, 2001, he married Amy Zdunich. She survives him at home with their children, Feleesha Roth-Anderson, Emily Anderson and Jake Anderson.

David was a sheriff's deputy for the Cowlitz County Sheriff's Department for three years. He enjoyed coaching football and basketball.

In addition to his family at home he is survived by two sisters, Donna Sears and Deanna Nemeyer, all of Kelso; his father and mother-in-law, Frank and Linda Zdunich of Kelso; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and in-laws.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Rose Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park.
