Marjorie A. Harvey, 84 passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 in North Manchester, Indiana.
She was a life-long resident of Lancaster Township until moving to Timbercrest Senior Living Community in 1999. She was a 1941 graduate of Lancaster Township High School. She was a member of the Salamonie Church of the Brethren. Marjorie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was born on November 7, 1923 in Huntington County, a daughter of Wilbert and Darlene (Brumbaugh) Heaston. She was united in marriage to William M. Harvey on June 26, 1949 at the Salamonie Church of the Brethren. This past week they observed their 59th wedding anniversary.
Survivors include her husband: William M. Harvey of North Manchester, two sons: Ronald W. (Joyce) Harvey of Lancaster, OH, Joe A. Harvey of Zionsville, IN, a daughter: Patricia (Rick) Hanson of Indianapolis, a brother: Robert (Wiladene) Heaston of Warren, three grandchildren: Erin Harvey, Ryan and Erik Hanson and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Wilbert and Darlene Heaston and a sister: Ruth Reed.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with one hour of calling prior to the service at the Salamonie Church of the Brethren, 2662 W. 600 S. near Warren with Pastor Mel Zumbrun officiating.
Interment will be at the Lancaster Cemetery in Huntington County.
