Sleeta Campbell McComb, 86 passed away Oct. 19, 1997. Mrs McComb was born Dec. 26, 1910. She was preceeded in death by her husband Joe McComb and baby daughter, Oma Lou McComb; brothers, Hoyt Campbell and Sammy Campbell; sisters, Ruby Spriggs and Vivian Sivil. She is survived by her daughters, Wanda McComb, Dortha Sheppard and hsuband Bob, Pat Zolman and husband John, all of Houston; sons James McComb and wife Wanda of Huntsville, Gene McComb and wife Jill, Robert McComb of Houston, and Steven McComb and wife Carol of Lufkin; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother Donald Campbell and wife Tina; sister Tempie Robb of Nogalus Prairie and a host of relatives and friends. A special thanks to her loving care-givers Judy Heitman, Keitha Stinnet and Susie Massey. Funeral services were held Oct. 21, 1997 in the chapel of Howard Glendale Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Webber officiating. Graveside Services and interment followed at Ivie Cemetery in Houston County Texas.
