Theresa Agnes (Cataldi) Katchur, 87, Amity Township, died Jan. 17, 2011, of natural causes in ManorCare, Spring Township, where she resided since Nov. 10, 2010.
She was the wife of George Matthew Katchur, ManorCare, Spring Township.
Born in Robeson Township, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Angeline (Seneca) Cataldi.
She was a packer for 15 years at Spring City Knitting Company, Spring City, retiring in 1981. She formerly worked for Luden's, Reading; and the former Philco Tube.
Theresa was a member of Immaculate Conception RCC, 905 Chestnut St., Union Township, Douglassville, PA 19518. She was also a member of Victor Emmanuel II.
Surviving are a daughter, Debra L., wife of James J. Gontarchick, Sinking Spring; a brother, Lawrence Cataldi, Ephrata; nieces and nephews and a grandson, Matthew.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Albert Cataldi; and three sisters: Viola Strock, Peterine Lafferty, and Elva Swoyer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, 9:45 a.m. A viewing will Saturday from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. at Dengler Funeral Home Inc., 144 N. Spruce St., Birdsboro. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
Dengler Funeral Home Inc., Birdsboro, is in charge of the arrangements.
