Sandy was passed into the arms of God following a lengthy illness.Preceded in death by her husband Jim Blessing and her much loved son Jerry Grytness. Survived by daughters, Kathy and Jenny, son Mike, six brothers, two sisters,five grandchildren, two greats, and dear friend Bill Norcross.Sandra L. Pearson Sandy passed into the arms of God following a lengthy illness. Preceded in death by her husband Jim Blessing and her much loved son Jerry Grytness. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy and Jenny and son Mike. She is also survived by six brothers, Denny, Tom, Rick, Brad, Jeff and Jim; two sisters, Janice and Denise; five grandchildren, Steffan, Shafer, Shane, Sydney and Chase and two great- grandchildren, Christopher and Connor. She'll be missed by her dear friend Bill Norcross.

Sandy was born in Spokane and was a Spokane resident for most of her 65 years. She enjoyed raft racing in the Spokane River in her younger years. She liked to crochet and enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful people at Valley Hospital and Medical Center who cared for her in her last days.

Viewing will be at Spokane Cremation and Burial at 2832 North Ruby Street, Spokane, WA., (509) 324-9375, on Friday, January 14 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.

Services to be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, N.4521 Arden Rd, Otis Orchards, WA. Saturday January 15 at 11:00am. Reception will follow.
