Union, Feb. 14. - E. M. ALLEN, 49, died at his home in Lockhart today after a long illness.
Mr. ALLEN is survived by his wife the former Miss MAMIE ASHMORE of Spartanburg: three daughters, Mrs. W. S. HURST, Jr. and Missed ALMA and WILMA ALLEN; two sons, SANDERS and ALVIN ALLEN, all of Lockhart; two sisters, Mrs. W. H. PARRIS and Mrs. B. H. JOHNSON of Holly Springs; two brothers, JOHN ALLEN of Duncan and CLIFFORD ALLEN of Holly Springs.
The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. W. L. EDGAR and the Rev. Mr. MOSELEY officiating.
