GOOD MAN TAKEN
Darius A. Abbey is Called by Death After Sixty-Four Years of Life

Died June 19, 1912, at his home in Hector, Pa., Darius A. Abbey, in the sixty-fourth year of his age. He had been a most patient sufferer for the past seven months, although he had what was conceded the best medical treatment in the city of Elmira and spent three -weeks in the Jefferson Hospital at Philadelphia. It proved of no avail. He slowly grew weaker until the end came. He had every comfort that kind hearts and willing hands could do, a fact which he fully appreciated. Although he clung to life and it looked beautiful to him he was fully prepared to meet the grim messenger and was strong in the faith oi meeting his loved ones on the other side.

He leaves a wife and two foster grandchildren, Lloyd and Laurence Abbey, the former having made his home with him since the death of his father the late Ray Abbey.
