Orel G. Liles, Age 94 formerly of N. Warpole St. Upper Sandusky died at 11:25 p.m. Sat. Oct. 13, 2012 in the Fairhaven Health Care Community. She was born Sept. 12, 1918 in Salem Twp. Wyandot Co., OH to the late Albert and Carrie (Schlup) Schoenberger. On Oct. 6, 1940 she married Bert L. Liles who preceded her in death on May 27, 2006.
She is preceded in death by a brother Cleve C. Schoenberger and a sister Gail L. Baker.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
A 1936 graduate of Wharton High School, Mrs. Liles retired after 29 years at Kimmmel Cleaners Corp.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Upper Sandusky and had been an associate member of First Presbyterian Church, Bonita Springs, FL.
Mrs. Liles was a member of Warpole Chapter OES #366 and American Legion Auxiliary #225. She and her husband spent winters at Mariners Cove Park in Estero, FL. She was a pianist and played for the enjoyment of others.
Funeral services will be held Thurs. Oct. 18, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Wessler officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wed. Oct. 17, 2012 from 3-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Coronary Care Unit at Wyandot Memorial Hospital in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
