Of Delphi, Dies;
Services Saturday
DELPHI—Final rites for Mrs.
Gladys E.,Adkins, 63, will be at
two o'clock Saturday at the
Eikenberry funeral home. The
Reverend Franklin Arthur will
officiate and burial will be in
Morning Heights cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral
home after four o'clock this evening.
Her death at 5 a.m. Thursday
occurred at St. Elizabeth's hospital,
Lafayette, after a lingering
illness.
Born, in Sullivan county, Indiana,
Feb. 16, 1898, she was the
daughter of Francis V. and Lucinda
Price Cummins. Her marriage
on April 16, 1923, was to
Miley Adkins.
She had resided in this community
since 1931.
Survivors are her husband; two
brothers: Ruby Cummins, Delphi;
Dean Cummins, Sullivan, Ill.
