Seven Valleys Oct 3 1944 Mrs. Clara Dise Krout, wife of Jacob G. Krout, Springfield Twp., near here, yesterday at 1:15 p.m. at her home after being bedfast for several weeks. She had been in ill health (Parkinson's Disease) for 12 years and died of a complication of diseases. She was 60 years old. She leaves 3 children: Steward D., Loganville; Raymond D. and Mrs Paul A Stump, Seven Valleys; four brothers, Emory Dise, Seven Valleys RD2; Alvin Dise, Loganville; Clement, Glen Rock RD 1; and Palmer, Glen Rock RD 2; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Dise Shelley, York; and Mrs. Levi Keener, York RD 2; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late residence with concluding services at Friedensaal's (White) church. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
