Louis E. Perrine
MARSHALL--Louis E. Perrine, 83, of Marengo Township, Route 1, died Sunday at 7:15 a.m. in a Jackson hospital where he had been a patient for two days. He had been in ill health for several years. He was born June 2, 1882, in Rives Junction, son of Eugene R. and Josephine (DeLanter) Perrine. He lived in Rives Junction as a young man, graduated from Jackson High School, and was a member of the class of 1907 at the University of Michigan. Mr. Perrine was married Aug. 27, 1913, in Homer to Magaret Mae Kraushaar of Homer. They lived in Jackson where he was a carpenter until 1918, when they moved to Marengo Township. He farmed until his retirement. Mrs. Perrine died May 19, 1952. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Weldon (Barbara) Neuschwanger of Olympia, Wash.; two sons, Eugene L. Perrine of Evanston, Ill., and David L. Perrine of Marengo Township; two sisters, Mrs. Orlie (Viola) Ansted of Topinabee and Mrs. Adelbert (Phebe) Chanel of Battle Creek; two brothers, Arthur Perrine of Rives Junction and Richard Perrine of Jackson, and four grandchildren.
