Adams, Alice Louise (Morat)
Mrs. Alice Adams of Hart, Mich. passed away Oct. 20, 2005 in South Bend, Ind. after a year long battle with ovarian cancer. She was born Nov. 27, 1924 in Hart. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, LaVoy Adams of Ferry, Mich.; her daughter, Shelley LeVeque; her son, Michael Adams; and grandsons, Garrett and Dylan Adams; sisters, Ruth Billings and Rose Gavin; and brother, Walter Morat. Alice's extended family also included step-sisters Marie King and Rose Crogstad; step-grandchildren, Pam Oliver and Jennifer and Jim LeVeque; and step-great-grandchildren, Chris and Dana Oliver, and Allison and Andrew LeVeque. She will be sorely missed and always remembered as a woman who loved life and her family to the fullest.
Visitation was 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 at Tate Funeral Chapel in Hart. Services were at 11 a.m. at Tate Funeral Chapel Wednesday, Oct. 26 with a reception to follow at the Hart Congregational Church. A memorial fund has been established to assist with the care and maintenance of the South Hart Cemetery where Alice and her family will be interned.
