Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington.
Mrs. White was born June 29, 1922, in Paris, Texas, to Robert and Laura Bills White. She was a hard worker and everyone knew her by her boisterous laugh and kind spirit.
Survivors include nine children, Billie Jean Johnson, Ida Henry, Clarence Darton, Ivory Darton, George Darton, Valerie Jo Thomas, Jackie Mitchell, Beatrice Darton and Victor White; a brother, John White of Tucson, Ariz.; 36 grandchildren; and 61 great-grandchildren.
