After graduating from high school, she graduating from nursing school in Cleveland. She lived at the hospital in nurses quarters during her training and was allowed to have Sundays off IF they were not busy. This was meant for them to be able to attend Mass as she was trained at a Catholic Hospital. She married Walter Deighton in 1950,was the mother of David, Mark, Mary and Anne. Daughter of Clyde and Mary Cover, sister of Robert E. Cover and Marilyn A. Cover. Suffered for many years with diabetes which was diagnosed after her first son was born in 1951, went blind at a young age and had multiple complications including ambulatory loss before her death at 50 years of age. Never lost her sense of humor, she was one funny lady. Knew a lot of her Cover family and its history in Poland, Ohio as she spent many summer vacations there with her grandfather Sylvanus Cover of Sharrott Road at North Lima, Woodworth, Ohio and her Aunt Emeline Flickinger of Poland, Ohio. Never knew her grand mother Catherine (Kate)Cover who died in 1926. Donna spent a lot of time with her maternal grandmother, Bridget Gallagher, who grew up on Inish Bofin Island in Ireland and came to Cleveland in 1901 sailing from Dumbarton, Scotland.
