Henry B. "Buck" Awtrey of Mineral Wells, died June 29 at a local nursing home after a lengthy illness. He had been a resident of the area for 75 years.

Funeral services will be held at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel at 10:00 a.m. with interment following at Sturdivant Cemetery.

Mr. Awtrey was a retired ranch worker. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Henry B. Autrey, Jr. of Midland, Texas, one daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Wade of Fort Worth; two sisters, Ida O'Rourke of Mineral Wells and Mrs. Jean Zapalac of Corpus Christi; one brother, E. T. Awtrey of Mission, Tex., and eight grandchildren.
