Roy Lee Addis, 68, of Newton passed away on April 3, 1995. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 1995 at Grace United Methodist Church, Newton, with Rev. Joe Crain officiating. Crain Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery.

Roy was born on April 18, 1926, the son of George and Nellie Addis. He married Jean Koontz. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Newton and the Newton Masonic Lodge #216. He was a carpenter most his adult life.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Tim (Alice) Addis of Newton, Jim Addis of Effingham; daughter, Debra Meinhart of Newton.
