Doyle Glenn Walker, 47 of Denton passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011 at his residence.
He was born August 4, 1963 in Denton County to Raymond and Amanda Borchardt Walker. He married Lori Lynn McCeig on June 22, 2005. He was a truck driver for Hodges Trucking Co., volunteered as assistant superintendent at the DCLA Youth Fair and on the grounds committee for the North Texas State Fair.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Walker of Denton; daughter, Raven Kirkland; son, Michael Wake; grandsons, Brayden and Landyn Kirkland; mother Amanda Walker of Denton, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Walker.
Visitation will be Friday, January 21, 2011 from 6 to 8 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 3 pm in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Al Murdock officiating. Burial will follow at Little Elm Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eric Borchardt, Freddie Borchardt, Jr., Joe Walker, Glenn Walker, Rick Hinckley, Brent Noles, Montie Taylor, David Sanders, Craig Murdock and Joe Ross Irwin.
