Donald Ludlow Aker was born to Francis Theodore Aker and Elizabeth Mc Nulty on 22 of Jan. 1894 in the industrial town of Streator, La Salle County, Illinois. Donald was the youngest of three brothers, Walter M (half brother), William, Francis Theodore (Frank) and elder sister Ada Mae. He met and married Mary Jane Marshall Aker 13 Nov 1913 and had a son Marshall Leland Aker. On June 5 1917 he was drafted in WWI. He was sent to Rahe Army school in North Kansas City. After the War Donald and his wife Mary parted ways, never to see his son again and moved to Joliet, Illinois and married Eileen Duffy and resided in Cleveland Ohio. There is no mention of Eileen after Ohio; however, Donald moved to Polk, Florida to live with his siblings. Donald died on 21 April 1971
