George G. Humes, an old and highly respected citizen of West Pittsburg, died at his home there Sunday night, aged 72 years. He had been living a somewhat retired life the past few years on account of his failing health.
He attended the Methodist church, and was a man of very high moral standards. He leaves a wife and one daughter to mourn his death.
Funeral services Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock at Savannah Church. Interment at Savannah cemetery.
