I. H. Wangelin, 221 Abend street, yesterday received notice of the death of
his brother, Otto H. Wangelin, at 11 o'clock Sunday night in Eugene, Oregon.
The deceased was a son of the late Colonel Hugo and Bertha Wangelin, nee
Schubert.

Otto H. Wangelin was born in Lebanon, March 2, 1850. He is survived by his
widow (second wife), the former Miss Emma Holbrook, three daughters, nine
grandchildren and the following brothers: Edward H. and Walter H. Wangelin,
both of St. Louis, Mo., and I. H. Wangelin, of this city (Belleville, Ill.).

He was formerly a law partner with Judge Burroughs of Edwardsville, Ill.
Later he published the Boulder County Herald at Colorado. He retired
several years ago and moved to Long Beach, Calif. Two years ago, Mr.
Wangelin moved to Eugene, where he passed away. Three years ago, Mr. and
Mrs. Wangelin visited here. The funeral services were held today at Eugene.
