Mrs. Lucina A. Burnham died at her home, Trobridge,[sic] Allegan county, on Monday evening, March 23, after a brief illness of pneumonia. Lucina A. Sexton was born in La Grange, Ind., July 16, 1852. She was married to A. Burnham in October, 1870, coming to Michigan in 1876 and residing near Richland, Kalamazoo county, until November, 1888, when they moved to their present home. She leaves a husband and four children, Elmer of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Newman Sanford of Alamo, Lloyd of Cooper and Ray, at home. Besides these she leaves a large circle of friends to morn her departure.
The funeral was held at the home Thursday, March 26. Burial at Alamo. Kalamazoo Evening Telegraph March 31, 1908 page 8
