Mrs. E.A. Swaner

Mrs. E. A. (Hortense) Swaner, 76, of 4220 N. 22nd St. died Wednesday afternoon at a local hospital.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Pat McClatchy officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park.
Mrs. Swaner was born Aug. 16, 1911, in China Spring. She attended China Spring and Waco schools, graduating from Waco High School in 1929.
She was married to E. A. Swaner March 25, 1933, in Waco. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband: two daughters, Mary Helen Swaner of Dallas and Mrs. Robert K.(Sue) Swaner Coffelt of Clifton; four sisters, Pauline Curton and Irene Cunningham, both of Waco. Ruie Fetzer of Austin and Vivian Comer of Dallas; and a brother C. E. (Gene) Cannon of Waco.
The family will receive visitors from 7 to 9 tonight at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel.
The family has designated St. John's United Methodist Church and American Cancer Society.
