Seven Valleys John J. Stine,husband of Mildred Romaine Stine, died Friday morning at their home, Seven Valleys RD 1 at the age of 62.
A native of the area, Mr. Stine had been a farmer most of his life. For the past 8 years he had been employed at the Loganville AMP plant. He was a member of Friedensaal's Lutheran church, and the Seven Valleys Fire Company.
A son of the late John and Mable Gladfelter Stine, he is survived by his wife; three children, John E. Stine, Seven Valleys RD 2; Mrs. Gloria Markle, 1931 Virginia Ave. Dover , and Jeffrey L. Stine at home; four grandchildren; a brother Preston Stine Seven Valleys RD 1 and five sisters Mrs. Elsie Harold, 144 Monroe Street, Mrs. Florence Pardo Shrewsbury, Mrs. Edith Delp Loganville, Mrs. Gladys Wheat Glen Rock RD 2, and Mrs. Dorothy Sheffer Seven Valleys RD 2.
Mr. Stine's pastor, The Rev. Joel Springer, will be assisted by a former pastor, the Rev M. L. Kroh, at the service Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Friedensaals church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He was age 62 years 3 months and six days.
